Koncert Data Researcher

Phone Propensity, Human-Verified

Sales lists decay silently. Data Researcher grades every prospect on whether the phone will actually be answered, then puts a human agent on the phone to verify Contact Identity and Company Identity — and writes back what that person established on the call.

Koncert Voice Agent — call log, transcript and summary

Call the right leads first.

Every lead comes back graded P1 to P3, so your reps work the list in the order that results in more conversations with lesser dials — instead of top to bottom.

Stop dialing the ones that won’t answer.

On the lists we have scored, half to three-quarters were not worth a dial (using a low volume research & dial method). Skipping those allows your reps to reach more conversations and hit quota faster.

Know who actually answered.

A human agent dials each record and establishes who picked up — the one valuable thing no other data set can tell you.

Two layers, two different questions

Machine

Layer one — the Phone Propensity Score

“Will anyone pick up?”

Every lead is graded P1 to P3 from the behavior of that lead’s mobile and direct lines — a company switchboard never stands in for a person.

Leave the complexity of scoring to us, so your reps can focus on getting people on the phone and selling.

Human

Layer two — Human Verification

“Is it still the right person answering?”

Identity can only be learned where somebody answers. A human agent dials the record (one call per phone number) and establishes two things on the call: Contact Identity — who actually answered — and Company Identity — where they work now. Our human agents are not selling.

Real people, not AI models and not AI voice agents. As AI voice agents spread, a record confirmed by an actual human phone call is becoming the scarce artifact.

Layer one predicts. Layer two verifies identity. The score says which contact should answer the call; the human verification says whether that contact is the right one.

How it works

STEP 1

You assign a list.

One action inside Koncert. The list is locked while we process it, so nobody dials a half-finished copy.

STEP 2

We score it.

Every scoreable lead is assigned a tier (P1 — High, P2 — Marginal, P3 — Bad).

STEP 3

A call floor works it (optional, Premium)

Human agents dial and document what they establish on each call — the contact who answered, and the company they work for now.

STEP 4

You get it back.

The same list, returned to its original owner, now carrying the scoring tiers. Your CRM/SEP sync picks it up and you will see it in your CRM/SEP.

The tiers

P1 — High
Typically 1 live answer for every 4 dials
Call these first

P2 — Marginal
Around 1 live answer for every 15 dials
Worth calling when capacity allows

P3 — Bad
Around 1 live answer for every 25 dials
Not recommended for a low volume research & dial method

Tiers are measured across multiple years. How many of your leads land in each tier depends on your list — we can tell you once we have scored it. If we don’t score a record, we don’t use credits.

The Koncert DR Score

Both layers in one sortable column. Take P1–11 apart, one position at a time:

P111

P1 — machine score

Best line answers about 1 in 4 dials

Measured across multiple years

1 — contact verification

A person heard the full name

Human-verified on a live call

1 — company verification

A person confirmed the company

Human-verified on a live call

First digit — contact  who answered

1 Full name confirmed
2 Last name confirmed
3 First name only
4 Reviewed, no contact heard
9 Wrong person — number reaches someone else

Second digit — company  where they work

1 Company confirmed
2 Reviewed, no company heard
3 Different company — the lead has moved

The best possible record is P1–11: a number that answers, reaching the named person, at the named company. P3–43 is the opposite — a number that rarely answers, reaching a contact we could not name, at a company that has changed. On a Data Researcher Pro list, where nobody dials, the score is the bare tier — like P1 — with no digits at all.

The digits run best to worst, so sorting the column puts your best records first in any spreadsheet, CRM or dialer — no special sorting formula.

A tier on every lead

Three tiers — every scoreable lead lands in exactly one. Your reps work top-down.

A named stop-calling list

Not just who to call first. Which records are not worth calling (using a low volume research & dial method), and why.

Human Verification

A human agent hears who answers and documents it: the contact confirmed, a different person, a company that has changed, a number that is dead.

One sortable column

The Koncert DR Score, sorting correctly wherever your reps already work.

Job changes surfaced

When the agent establishes that the lead now works somewhere else, the record says so — the one finding no other data supplier can hand you.

Inside the platform you run

No new tool and no new login. Data Researcher sits beside your CRM, SEP, dialers, and coaching tools.

Your data stays yours

The list is taken into temporary custody and returned to its original owner. It is your data, worked and returned.

Trust

We add, we do not overwrite.

The Koncert DR Score is written into its own column on your record. Nothing you already hold is replaced.

A list is delivered whole or not at all.

Every value is checked before it goes anywhere near your data, and if any record fails we hold the entire list back rather than deliver it half-done.

A job change is information, not an edit.

When a contact has moved, the finding tells you so and leaves the decision with you — we never quietly swap the company on your record.

If we don’t score a record, we don’t use credits.

A lead we could not evaluate carries no tier rather than the worst one — and you are not charged for it.

Two ways to buy it

Data Researcher Pro

We score and tier the list; no human agents make calls. You learn what you have and which part of the list is not worth a dial — the fastest way to see the value. If we don’t score a record, we don’t use credits.

Data Researcher Premium

Optional — uses additional credit. Scored, then dialed, with Human Verification written back.

Frequently Asked Questions

The basics

What is Data Researcher?

+

A service inside the Koncert platform that improves a prospect list before your reps dial it. You assign a list; it comes back with a Phone Propensity Score on every lead, the not-worth-calling records named, and — in Data Researcher Premium — Human Verification from a human agent who actually called each contact.

What are the two layers?

+

Layer one, the Phone Propensity Score, answers “will anyone pick up?” — every scoreable lead graded P1 (High), P2 (Marginal), and P3 (Bad) across the whole list. Layer two, Human Verification, answers “is it still the right person answering?” — two findings documented by a person based on a phone call: Contact Identity and Company Identity.

Layer one predicts. Layer two verifies identity. A score can tell you a number gets answered; it can never tell you whether whoever answers is still the name on the record and whether the prospect still works in the same company.

Is this a data vendor? Are you selling me contacts?

+

No. Data Researcher works on the list you already own. We do not sell you records. Your list is taken into temporary custody, worked, and returned to you — it is your data, worked and returned.

How is this different from list scrubbing?

+

Scrubbing removes what is structurally broken — invalid numbers, duplicates, obvious junk. Data Researcher answers a harder question: of the numbers that look perfectly fine, which will a human actually answer, and is the person on the record still the one who picks up? A number can be valid, dialable, and still worthless.

Do we have to change how we work?

+

No. You simply assign a list from where it already lives (CRM, SEP, or a CSV file) and get the same list back, in place. No export, no reimport.

What you get

What do the tiers mean?

P2 — Marginal
Around 1 live answer for every 15 dials
Worth calling when capacity allows
P3 — Bad
Around 1 live answer for every 25 dials
Not recommended for a low volume research & dial method

Tiers are measured across multiple years.

How many of my leads will be P1?

+

How much of each tier you have is the property of your list. We cannot tell you before we score your file, and anyone who does is guessing. This is exactly why the honest first step is to score a sample. And if we don’t score a record, we don’t use credits.

What is the Koncert DR Score?

+

One column carrying both layers: P1-11. The tier, then two digits — the first for Contact Identity, the second for Company Identity. It sorts correctly as plain text in any spreadsheet, CRM or dialer, with no special sort formula, so your best records rise to the top of any list view.

Will you tell me a contact has left the company?

+

Yes, when the agent establishes it — one of the valuable things this service produces, and invisible to every other source.

Trust and accuracy

How is the scoring done? Will a human agent call my prospects?

+

If you subscribe to Data Researcher Pro, our scoring team will validate phone column mappings, use a proprietary deep scanning scoring algorithm and score the list, but no calls are made to reach the prospects in your list. Our deep scanning algorithm utilizes a massive amount of data signals and phone behavioral intelligence, gathered internally and from data partners, over a multi-year period.

If you subscribe to Data Researcher Premium, after our deep scanning scoring algorithm generates the score, a trained human agent will research using LinkedIn and other internet resources and also make one phone call per phone number provided in the list, to arrive at the final Contact Identity and Company Identity digits of the score. LinkedIn research is performed using the human agent’s own login (not client’s) — so this won’t affect client’s LinkedIn account. Also, the one phone call per phone number is made using the human agent’s call-from numbers (not client’s) — so this won’t affect client’s caller ID spam flagging and call deliverability.

How do you compare to other priority scoring?

+

Other priority scoring vendors provide a prediction of who is likely to answer. Some vendors may put all likely-to-answer leads in one bucket and ask you to call them, but don’t tell you with precision which leads will result in what connect rate. The vendors who may score the leads into different connect rate buckets will recommend you should call only the top P1 scored leads and assign the rest of the list to non-phone channels like email and social channels.

Our Data Researcher’s deep scanning scoring algorithm uses phone propensity to score the leads into P1 (High), P2 (Marginal), and P3 (Bad), which allows you to use a different type of outreach strategy for each priority.

Further, our competitors are primarily prediction products; nothing in them establishes who actually answers the phone call.

They tell you who should answer. We call them and tell you who actually answers the call.

Are those rates a guarantee?

+

No. Your own calling hours, caller ID reputation and retry cadence can affect the performance. Judge the result over a period of dialing rather than a short term: a small pilot can legitimately show a poor rate on luck alone, in either direction.

Could this damage our CRM data?

+

The Koncert DR Score is written into its own column; nothing you already hold is replaced. Your original values are preserved throughout.

Who sees our list?

+

The agents working it, and nobody else. The list stays inside Koncert throughout, is held only while the work is in progress, and returns to its original owner on completion.

After getting the scores, what is your recommended outreach strategy?

+

Based on the priority score, outreach strategy needs to be different. We recommend:

Priority
Outreach Strategy
P1
Use a simple click-to-call dialer or AI single line dialer
P2
Use AI single line or parallel dialer to call P2 if your TAM is not large and reaching most of the prospects via phone is important; otherwise use email or social channel
P3
Use AI Parallel dialer to call P3 if your TAM is not large and reaching most of the prospects via phone is important; otherwise use email or social channel

Can I use my existing dialer to call the scored list?

+

Yes, the scored list is made available in your CRM or SEP system or a CSV file. You can continue to use an existing dialer to make calls.

If I don’t have a dialer, how do I call the scored list?

+

If you don’t already have a dialer, we recommend trying one of the dialers in the Koncert platform. Koncert dialer subscription starts as low as $39/user/month. Koncert dialers include advanced Caller ID features like automated local presence and fully managed caller ID health to avoid spam flagging. Koncert has been pioneering call deliverability for 15+ years.

If your human agents are calling my list, will it affect my spam flagging and call deliverability?

+

No. If you subscribe to Data Researcher Premium, after our deep scanning scoring algorithm generates the score, a trained human agent will make one phone call per phone number provided in the list, to arrive at the final Contact Identity and Company Identity digits of the score. The one phone call per phone number is made using the human agent’s caller IDs / call-from numbers (not client’s) — so this calling won’t affect client’s caller ID spam flagging and call deliverability.
